Pastor John McDermott
Pastor John was brought up in Carrickfergus and after leaving school began work in Bombardier Aerospace (Short Brothers PLC, Belfast). It was while serving his apprenticeship at the age of 18 years that the Lord Jesus graciously saved him and planted a deep desire in his heart for the pastorate. He attended the Irish Baptist College, and after a pastoral placement which began in October 2006, he was inducted as Pastor in June 2007.
Pastor John is married to Rachelle and they have one little daughter named Faye. They also have two labradors named Susie and Rosie.
